About Commercial Roofing Intel

CRI exists to give everyone responsible for a commercial roof the same quality of information as the professionals they hire.

What CRI is

Commercial Roofing Intel is an independent knowledge platform dedicated to commercial roofing. We organize research, technical guidance, decision tools, and practical resources for the people who carry roofing responsibility: property owners, property managers, facility managers, HOA boards, investors, developers, architects, engineers, and insurance professionals.

We publish independent, source-cited commercial roofing information the way trusted financial resources publish investment education — independent analysis, clear methodology, and no sales pitch.

Who is behind CRI

Hila Atlan, Founder & Editor-in-Chief. Founder of Commercial Roofing Intel. Commercial real estate professional focused on independent, source-cited commercial roofing education, research, and owner advocacy. Oversees editorial standards, research methodology, and publication quality.

Commercial Roofing Intel is independently operated as an educational platform. It shares common ownership with Victory E&I Roofing and Construction, a Fort Lauderdale, Florida commercial roofing contractor — a relationship disclosed in full on the Funding & Relationships page. The platform was founded to address a persistent problem: commercial property owners making expensive roofing decisions without access to independent, source-cited guidance.

What CRI is not

  • We are not a roofing contractor and we do not perform roofing work.
  • We are not a lead-generation site dressed up as education.
  • We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, rankings, or recommendations.

How we sustain the platform

When readers decide they need roofing services, we may refer qualified opportunities to vetted commercial roofing contractors. Those relationships never influence what we publish, and every relationship is disclosed on our Funding & Relationships page. Editorial and commercial functions are structurally separated — see How CRI Works.

The trust framework

These are not marketing statements — they are operating policies we can be held to, page by page. If you find any page on this site that violates them, our Corrections process applies to it:
