- Nothing, for reading. Browsing CRI requires no account or personal data.
- What you send us. If you contact us or request a referral, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message) to respond.
- Analytics. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages help readers. Configuration is documented at deployment.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not gate educational content behind data collection.
Referral requests
If you explicitly ask to be connected with a roofing contractor, the information you provide for that purpose is shared with the relevant vetted contractor — that is the service you requested. Relationships are disclosed on Funding & Relationships.
Retention and rights
Correspondence is retained as long as needed to handle it. You may request access to or deletion of your data via the contact page.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be noted here with a new effective date.
