Methodology summary
This section is not yet written, and the dataset is not yet defensible. v1.0 will document: the data sources drawn on (field studies, standards-body research, published service-life literature), inclusion and exclusion criteria, how conflicting figures were reconciled, sample sizes, and known limitations — to the CRI Methodology standard.
Until that work is done, the ranges above are a synthesis of commonly published figures. They are a starting point for validation, not a finding. Do not cite them, and do not plan against them.
